The prices at épicerie café & grocery are also very reasonable and they offer a great selection of pastries, tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads and more. It's definitely one of my go-to spots when looking for breakfast in Austin.

I've tried plenty of beignets in my day and these ones from Péché are truly some of the best. I highly recommend their vanilla bean custard filled beignet - it's flavorful yet not overwhelming. The dough is soft, light and perfectly balanced with the sweetness of custard.

I also had their classic powdered sugar beignet which was also delicious. The flavor of the dough comes through nicely against the slight sweetness that you get from the sugar.

The ambiance at Péché is inviting and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience - something that is hard to find today!

All-in-all, I can honestly say that Péché has some of the best beignets in Austin !

I can confidently say that upon trying their beignets for the first time, I was nothing short of impressed. The cafe is located downtown and has a chic atmosphere, the perfect place for brunch. All the pastries are made with fresh ingredients and their beignets are definitely some of the best in Austin.

The beignets were deliciously light and fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Each one was dusted with an abundance of powdered sugar, which made them even more delicious. I loved that they also offer savory options like spinach and cheese beignets too! The service was fantastic; it only took a few minutes for my order to arrive!

At first glance, the place doesn't seem like much. But boy, oh boy, do they know how to make the best beignets in Austin! The beignets were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of powdered sugar on top. It was as if they had been imported straight from New Orleans to Texas.

The menu at Vic and Al's is also something special. They have an array of different beignet flavors including classic powdered sugar, chocolate-filled beignets, and even blueberry-filled ones! I tried all three and let me tell you, my taste buds were dancing a jig.
